No Elbows!
#1
Hi is there a way to add an elbow into the rope?

What I mean is, there is a root, and there is an effector (or end). But is there a way to add in a second "effector", an elbow at the mid range of the rope?

So the elbow too, can control or have a dictorial effect on the rope, from root to it, and the end effector, from the elbow to the end.

?

Thanks!

Hi!

Not sure what you mean. There's no explicit "root" or "end effector" in Obi, ropes are defined using control points, and you can add control points anywhere in the rope including the middle (see: http://obi.virtualmethodstudio.com/manua...setup.html). You can then attach that control point to have an "elbow" in the middle of the rope (or, two control points if you want explicit control over orientation).

kind regards,
