Character Cloth Issue
#1
Hello,

I have a couple images attached, any idea what is happening? I fear your asset does not work with my characters yet. I think it's scale, but I imported a new character without any rig scaling and it also was totally messed up looking.

I really wish you had made a video tutorial for the character cloth part it would have helped a lot.

Hi there,

Yes it really seems like a scaling issue. Make sure your character root scale is <1,1,1>. Cloth scaling in general (not just Obi's) does not work as one would initially expect.

The easiest way to ensure this is to use your modeling/animation program of choice's "freeze transform" tool. In Maya it is called "Freeze Transform", in Blender "Apply transform", etc.

cheers,

Ya I'm familiar with setting scale properly, however looking at my designs the rig is exporting at 100, which I did not notice.

I was really hoping it was not the case as this will require some serious changes. But I'll give it a go for one character and see if it works and post back Sonrisa
Thanks
