Advice tweaking softbody and solver settings
#1
Hey!

I have 2 softbodies I am using to simulate the ears of an animated stuffed bunny.  It is working ok... but I just can't get them looking exactly like I want.  They have a very rubbery and stretchy appearance.  I'd rather have them look more stuffed and heavier and maintain their volume but still droop (not maintain the shape so they start sticking out)

Here are 2 videos which show how the ears behave in a sample project and also in my game:

Would it be possible for anyone to provide some advice on the actual settings?

There is obviously a tradeoff between look and performance here because the game is a Mobile game.

I have the ears isolated in a sample project available for download. (I don't want to put a link here because it has the whole softbody asset in there and I don't want to inadvertently make it available for anyone who finds this forum post.

But, if you reply to this post I can send a link to a zip of the project in a Private Msg.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Sean
