Obi 7 Model Scaling

Hello!

We have been doing some work to migrate from Obi 6 to Obi 7, and we really appreciate a lot of the changes you have made. We had to rewrite our character update, animation, and IK loop etc. but that has resulted in what I feel is a better result.

We have however run into a blocking issue.

We scale our characters by scaling the Position joint on our rig (screenshot of the rig attached).

On Obi 6 this works as it should, but on Obi 7 the scale appears to be ignored. I have attached two videos showing the issue. Are we missing something in the setup of the system?

Once this issue is resolved we'll be really close to finally shipping with Obi 7, reauthing assets is taking some time.

Hi Alkis,

Which Obi version are you using? we fixed a similar bug in Obi 7.0.5. The fix in the changelog says the following:
Quote:- Fixed: Incorrect scaling for skinned cloth when using solver scale other than 1 in the Burst backend.

I would suggest updating if you're using ant of the previous 7.X versions. If you can't for some reason, y can try back porting the fix to the version you're using.

Ah, I dunno how I missed that update (probably because I'd been re-assigned to other tasks). We were on 7.0.4. Updated to 7.1 and the issue is fixed, and I can see in the code where it was as well. Thanks for the help Jose, that should be our Art team unblocked!
