Help  does not render correctly in Unity 6000
#1
Hi

As the title says, I am using Unity6000 0.5f1.
I imported Obi Fluid and followed the manual, but in every sample the fluid turns black and I keep getting warnings.

Based on troubleshooting, URP15/16 patches have already been applied.
I converted the material for URP and set the RendererFeature as instructed on the setup page.

Unity 6000 (URP 17) is not yet supported ?

I'm also having rendering issues on Unity 6 with Obi 6.5.4 when the GPU Resident Drawer is enabled.
When objects using the ObiRopeExtrudedRenderer move around the scene they dispappear, almost like they're being culled. Enabling/disabling the renderer makes them appear again.

Hi there,

I'm unable to reproduce any issues in Unity 6000.

Could you share the warning messages you're getting?

Hi,

Please create your own thread, since this isn't related to OP's problem.

I've also tested Obi 7.0.3 with Unity 6 and URP 17 but could not reproduce any issues with the GPU Resident Drawer enabled. Obi performs its own rendering using the methods in Unity's Graphics API, so it should be entirely independent from the resident drawer which acts on MeshRenderers and requires the use of specific shaders.

If possible, could you share a project that reproduces this issue by sending it to support(at)virtualmethodstudio.com? thanks!
