Shading of Obi Cloth Proxy - backerly - 09-04-2019 Hello. I did a simple test using Obi Cloth Proxy. I chose a plane for source object and a sphere for target object. Result Deformation worked great as I had expected. But the shading of the deformed sphere was somewhat awkward (not smooth enough). It seems that something is wrong with normals. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks! RE: Shading of Obi Cloth Proxy - josemendez - 11-04-2019 (09-04-2019, 02:04 PM)backerly Wrote: Hello. Hi there, Normals are skinned for performance reasons too, instead of recomputed from scratch every frame. This is just as good as it gets. I don't know how high the recalculation cost is, but I think it would be great if the recalc_normals option would be added in future updates Thank you for clarifying! |
