Fluids in VR
#1
Hi,

I'm developing a VR game and wanted to know if there is any issues with using the Fluid in VR environment (Oculus Rift & HTC Vive)?

I intend to use it in small scale (drink machine, boiling water, etc.)

Was this tested in VR environment?

Thanks,
Oded/

Same, using this for a VR training simulation.  I wanted to let the OP & obi fluid author know that on the FAQs (http://obi.virtualmethodstudio.com/tutorials/index.html), they may want to update this:

Does it support VR (Virtual Reality)?

Cloth and Rope will support VR. For Obi Fluid, you will have to use separate cameras for each eye since the renderer does not support single-pass stereo rendering.  (I almost did not buy the package, but took a gamble that maybe multi-pass would work...)

I tried with Unity 2018.19 and with multi-pass rendering, liquids work fine in VR.  That means it won't work with Unity's LWRP right now, but maybe that will get support later.  I did not try the separate cameras approach.
