Is it possible to make a soft body float in a liquid? I can see how to add density and buoyancy to a liquid in the blueprint but I'm not clear how to do the same to a soft body to make it "lighter" than the liquid.

Density is just mass per volume unit. So together, density (mass per volume unit) and resolution (particles per volume unit) determine the mass of each individual fluid particle for both 2D and 3D fluids, This value appears in an info globe at the bottom of the blueprint inspector. Depending on the mass of softbody particles (compared to the mass of fluid particles), they will float or sink. You can set the mass of softbody particles in the blueprint editor, see: http://obi.virtualmethodstudio.com/manua...setup.html kind regards, |
