Are all Obi add-ons working with eachother?
#1
Hello, Obi seems amazing, I am considering buying the add-on.
I have one question though.
If I buy Obi Cloth and Obi Softbody, will I be able to simulate cloth on softbodies? and vice versa?

Thank you for your answer

Hi!

All Obi assets work with each other. See our FAQ:
http://obi.virtualmethodstudio.com/faq.html

This means that cloth will collide with softbodies, fluid will collide with cloth, ropes etc. Collisions and attachments work between all Obi actors.

You can't however make a softbody out of cloth, turn a softbody into fluid, turn a rope into cloth, etc. Actors can't be "morphed" into each other.

let me know if I can be of further help.

cheers!

Good evening sir,

I have just purchased Obi Cloth and Obi Softbody.

I have successfuly imported ObiCloth into my project, but importing ObiSoftbody right after throws an error:

How can I import both Cloth and Softbody into one project?

This means some other program (antivirus, file compression, etc) is using that particular file, so it can’t be overwritten.Make sure that particular file is not in use by any other program.

If all else fails, close Unity, delete libOni.dll in your file explorer, then reimport ObiSoftbody.
