Mesh Topology - Richard - 01-02-2019 My mesh topology has an error:Your mesh is non-manifold. What can I do to make it OK? Hi, Well, clean it up in any mesh editing software. Most modeling programs have a "Cleanup" option that deals with sources of non-manifoldness. Sometimes this automatic process is enough, but I've encountered cases where the mesh had malformations that could only be hand-hunted. See: https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/7910/what-is-non-manifold-geometry RE: Mesh Topology - Richard - 02-02-2019 (01-02-2019, 10:34 AM)josemendez Wrote: Hi, Hello. I searched about how to fix non-manifold. In blender, we can see how many there are non-manifold. But it seems that there are no one. The way I checked is wrong? I looked at top of the page. Hi there, Also look for flipped normals, as this affects triangle winding order, resulting in meshes that have no defined "outer" and "inner" surfaces. Afaik Blender does not consider this "non-manifold", but it is. If you wish, we can take a look at your mesh and fix it for you. Send it to support(at)virtualmethodstudio.com. |
