Effect like Mystical Mixing game - littleanchovy - 20-02-2023 Hey, i want to achieve this color changin effect on liquids, is it possible to achieve with Obi? https://youtu.be/FeoUfQn-uvk?t=5 RE: Effect like Mystical Mixing game - josemendez - 20-02-2023 (20-02-2023, 12:33 PM)littleanchovy Wrote: Hey, i want to achieve this color changin effect on liquids, is it possible to achieve with Obi? Hi there, The effect shown in the video is not a particle-based simulation, seems to be a 2D heightmap-based sim. It's an entirely different use case and approach, so not sure you'd want to be using Obi for this. kind regards, RE: Effect like Mystical Mixing game - littleanchovy - 20-02-2023 (20-02-2023, 03:09 PM)josemendez Wrote: Hi there, Hey Jose thanks for the reply, they use 2D heightmap based sim i agree but. I will have to pour the fluid to another object and etc.Thats why i would like to use obi for that RE: Effect like Mystical Mixing game - josemendez - 20-02-2023 (20-02-2023, 03:59 PM)littleanchovy Wrote: Hey Jose thanks for the reply, they use 2D heightmap based sim i agree but. In that case you can use Obi , as it can automatically mix colors and you can also set them from a script. Do keep in mind that particle-based simulations are considerably costlier than a 2D height map (since particles represent the entire volume of fluid, not just the surface). let me know if you need further help, kind regards |
