Hi!

No, Obi cannot simulate on a texture or paint a texture. You will need a cell-based simulator that works in texture space for that. FluXY is a good option:

However, the video shows a mix of both free surface sim (what Obi does) and cell based sim. Mixing both is not trivial (or cheap, computationally-wise).
