Multiple ropes combined - salonso - 07-01-2021

Hi!

I would like to make a big rope with multiples small ones all together. The idea behind this is to have different colours/sections to detect certain things + a sphere dragger for instance. I have tried playing with 1 rope and it does the work but how can I add multiple ones? is there any example? I cannot find it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there!

You can use stitch constraints (by using the ObiStitcher component) to stitch multiple ropes together.

This however, won't make them behave *exactly* as if they were a single rope: material bending at the junction won't be constrained, as it's still several physically separate ropes, being "glued" together. Am I making sense?
