Plastic Deformation Capable? - peterson79 - 26-06-2019

Hello, is it possible to simulate plastic, clay, metal, deformation with Obi Softbody?

For example dropping a rock into clay or bending metal?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Yes, plastic deformation is supported. See:

Thank You,

Is it possible to keep the volume the same during the deformation? I want to hit a clay or lead / soft metal, with a tool and have it realistically deform, so it needs to preserve volume though out the deformation.

Not currently. Shouldn't be hard to add, so we will consider it for upcoming updates. Sonrisa
