+1 Also had the problem with dynamic attachment at 0 degrees. I think 180 degrees don't work as well. 90 degrees do work better.

Hello, has there been any resolution for this issue?
In my case i have objects attached to both ends of a rod and i want to constrain their attachments as well as apply physics between them so the shortcuts suggested don't quite work.
Please let me know if this is still in the works or any other solutions are available.
